Partitions for self-storage

The unit and corridor system the operator rents. Module by module, joint by joint: designed for self-storage, nothing else.

What our partitions include

We design and fabricate partitions for self-storage warehouses: fascias, doors, corridors and finishes aligned with end-customer flow.

  • Modular units with clean joints
  • Corridors calibrated to traffic
  • Doors and fronts consistent with the operator's brand
  • Integration with mezzanine in the same system

From floor plan to rentable floor

Every layout starts from the operator's plan: unit density, corridor width, clear height, access and security. The result is a rentable floor, not a generic warehouse.

Density

More rentable square metres per floor, without sacrificing circulation or customer experience. That is why density is studied together with flow.

Repetition

A repeatable module. Fabrication is predictable, which makes it easier to repeat the format as a network grows.

Turnkey

From study to assembly. The operator receives a space ready to trade, without coordinating several suppliers.

Layout decisions the study settles

Some questions are easier to close before fabrication. In each study we look at:

  • Unit mix: how many small, medium and large units fit the floor.
  • Corridors: width and routing, for customers and for moving goods in and out.
  • Access and doors: where people and goods enter, and how the common area connects.
  • Security: what each unit and corridor need in terms of access control.
  • Unit fronts: doors and fronts aligned with the operator's image.
  • Second floor: whether the clear height allows a mezzanine and how the partitions follow it.

What we need to study your warehouse

To study your warehouse, we only need:

  1. the warehouse floor plan (PDF, JPG, PNG, DWG or DXF, up to 8 MB);
  2. the clear height, if you know it;
  3. the country or market;
  4. whether you want to explore a mezzanine (yes, no or not sure yet).

We reply on business days. Do not have the full plan? Send what you have. You can also start with the Capacity estimator, which gives an indicative range from the usable area.

Partitions and mezzanine in one system

When the warehouse has clear height, the second floor joins the same study. The mezzanine is designed to carry the partitions on the upper level, with the same construction vocabulary on the ground floor and above.

Questions to ask any partition supplier

Choosing partitions for self storage means deciding on layout, density and assembly. Before you choose, it is worth asking:

  • How do the floor plan, clear height and access enter the design?
  • Who designs and who assembles?
  • How is assembly coordinated with the opening date?
  • What is included: doors, fronts, corridors?
  • What information do you need to send to receive a proposal?

Steelaxy's answers to each point are in the method: study, design, fabrication and assembly. The operators by country are in Work.

Frequently asked questions

Who designs and who assembles?

Steelaxy does the design and the assembly, from the study to handing over the space. The details of each project are set in the proposal.

Do you supply units to end customers?

No. We work only with self-storage operators. We do not rent units to the public.

Can doors and fronts follow the operator's brand?

Yes. Doors and fronts are designed to be consistent with the operator's brand.

What is the price per unit or per square metre?

We do not publish prices. They depend on the layout, the size of the warehouse and the scope. We give them in the proposal, after the study.

What is the fabrication and assembly lead time?

It depends on the scope. The schedule is proposed after the study and coordinated with the operator's calendar.

Have a floor plan? Send it.

We study layout, density and schedule.
